Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Processing Specialist II to manage reject decisioning and document sorting operations efficiently within our processing center.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day functions of document reject decisioning and processing, including handling non-standard or rejected transactions. The role requires quick and efficient operation of low speed equipment and the ability to maintain accuracy and productivity in a deadline-driven setting. Candidates with a background in print production or mailroom operations will find this role a great fit.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Monterey Park, CA 91754
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: 5:00am to 1:30 pm (Sun, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri) (Days off Monday and Saturday)
• PAY RATE: $17.50 hour

Responsibilities

• Identify and pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and audit trails.
• Perform basic transaction sorting and decision-making.
• Header batched items with control documents and processing headers.
• Process medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning according to client instructions.
• Operate low speed equipment efficiently to meet department standards.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity as per Deluxe standards.
• Assist with training when required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to read and make decisions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes.
• Meet Deluxe established minimum productivity and accuracy standards.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience.

Work Environment

• Schedule: 5:00am to 1:30pm on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
• Days off: Monday and Saturday.
• Location: Monterey Park, CA 91754.
• Contract employment.
