Position Overview

The Security Support 2 position provides administrative and operational support for employee and guest security access, identification, security information, controlled documents, and property control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce employee and guest badges and identification cards.
• Produce security reader cards.
• Process security information and data related to:
  • Employment records
  • Security clearances
  • Property control
• Collect and submit electronic fingerprints and handprints.
• Process optical readings into applicable systems.
• Maintain accurate lock and key records.
• Process visit authorizations for employees and guests requiring access to restricted areas.
• Verify information accuracy before issuing clearances.
• Maintain controlled security documents and information.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of additional education and/or relevant experience.
• Secret Security Clearance required.
