Salary: $137,717 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area, with a thorough understanding of its underlying principles and concepts.
• For individual contributors, the ability to build technical expertise and advise others where appropriate.
• Strong research, solution engineering, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to apply technical experience to identify and resolve problems, evaluate options, and communicate complex or sensitive information.
• Commitment to secure coding, effective unit testing, code quality, and compliance with applicable rules and procedures.

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve new and existing application features, delivering scalable, reliable, maintainable software that meets business outcomes.
• Use agile practices and suitable programming languages, frameworks, and tools to deliver software products and capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
• Prioritize work, clarify requirements, provide timely estimates, and assess potential impacts.
• Work with business users, product managers, designers, engineers, and other teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and integrate software with business objectives.
• Coordinate with testing, release, and engineering teams, support production systems, review test strategies, and help diagnose issues found during testing.
• Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends, assess their practical applications, and contribute to our technology communities.
• Profile applications, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Deliver assigned work to a high standard, pursue continuous improvement, and contribute to related teams and business functions.
• Manage risks and controls in work owned or supported, follow relevant policies and procedures, and escalate breaches appropriately.
• Where applicable, lead and support a team, allocate work, coordinate resources, and encourage colleagues professional development.

We are collaborating with hackajob to recruit Web Portal Developers for Barclays Services Corp. in New York, NY, with multiple positions available. This is a hybrid role with two days in the office; telecommuting may be available under company policies. The annual base salary range is $137,717–$145,000, excluding other compensation and benefits.
