Job Overview Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity - Missouri Job Opportunity - Emergency Medicine Physician - Missouri Start Date: Not specified Location: Missouri Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Flexible scheduling required for days, nights, and weekends. Shift times include 7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a, 7p-7a, and 7a-7p. No call coverage required. Average patient census of 81 with an annual ER admission rate of 12%. Highlights: Community Emergency Department serving a higher population of Level 4 and Level 5 patients Full scope of standard ER procedures including intubation and central line placement ICU on-site for critical patient management Support through Neurology and Psychiatric telemedicine services Board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians preferred; will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physicians with Emergency Medicine experience Collaborative team environment with varying physician coverage per shift Requirements: Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active, unrestricted medical license Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience) Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Competency in standard emergency procedures including advanced airway management and vascular access Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends All experience levels welcome if board certified Why It's a Great Opportunity: This locum tenens opportunity offers Emergency Medicine physicians the chance to practice full-spectrum emergency care in a supportive community setting.
